Travelling to Urspring.

To reach our nearest station, Schelklingen: From Stuttgart or Munich, take the train to Ulm Central Station and change onto the service which calls at Schelklingen which is normally operated by the regional rail network. (NB Do not take the service to "Urspring, Lonsee" near Amstetten.) We will collect you from Schelklingen station.

BY CAR.

Urspring School is a 30-minute drive from Ulm or a 20-minute drive via the A8. Leave the A8 at Junction 61 (Merklingen).

The best route to approach Urspring School from the Schelklingen direction is via a narrow road. You will see the uplands of the Schwäbische Alb (Swabian Jura) on your right. On the left, you will see a small valley surrounded by wooded hills. In front of you at the end of the valley, you will see the silhouette of the 800-year-old Urspring Monastery Precincts. This is now the home of Urspring School.
